We offer a complete line of full massage services, specialized massages,
salt glows and much more. Additionally, provide a comprehensive understanding
of massage techniques, the human body, psychology of relaxation, to the clients
to ensure a whole new level of massage The owner is a massage enthusiast and
is looking to build her team!
Role and Responsabilities
• Welcome clients to the spa and engage them in conversation to determine
the services that they need
• Take notes regarding each client’s medical history and ensure that
appropriate precautions are taken so that the condition is not aggravated
• Provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural
improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative
exercises.
• Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment
for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance.
• Prepare and blend oils and apply the blends to clients' skin.
• Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body.
• Provide clients with knowledge of different types of available massages and
suggest appropriate massage therapies for individual clients
• Perform massaging activities according to each client’s instructions
(pressure and preferred oil / cream)
• Talk to clients (minimally) during massage treatments to ensure their
wellbeing during the procedure
• Use aids such as infrared lamps, ice and hot or cold compresses to
help with massage therapies
• Maintain clients records including demographic information,
medical histories and appointments
• Uphold the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law
and the spa’s policies and procedures
• Maintain a constructive attitude and add toward a quality work
environment
• Help in all areas of spa operation as requested
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
• Must hold and maintain a current state license
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
• Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Basic computer knowledge and excellent phone demeanor
• Must be team player
• Take pleasure in working with people and have an outgoing personality
Preferred Skills
• Accurate bookkeeping and appointment setting
• Spa advertising and how to increase clientele
Physical Requirements
• Able to lift or push 10+ pounds, bending, stretching, and able to sit or
stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform all licensed services.
